Among the Martu, young eagles like her are revered for their daring nature, a mirror to the energy of new beginnings.
Yurnku’s feathers were yet to darken with the weight of age and wisdom. Instead, they shimmered with an earthy vibrance, a canvas of soft ochres, sun-drenched browns, and hints of playful color that caught the light just right. Her curious eyes scanned the world with a hunger for adventure, while her distinctive crest hinted at a regal future.
The elders tell that Yurnku had a habit of swooping low to inspect the campfires of the Martu people, her wings brushing the smoke as she passed.
